Behind
the frame
I’m 30, born and raised in Calgary, and I’ve wanted to do this for as long as I can remember. I’m finally doing it properly.
Breaking into photography and videography is one of those things that’s easy to want and easy to put off. I put it off. Now I’m building the portfolio the only way that actually works — by shooting constantly, for real people, on real projects.
That’s why the work is free right now. I’m not doing favours and I’m not fishing for an upsell — I need frames in my book, you need images, and that’s a fair trade while it lasts.
Calgary is home and it’s where I shoot most, but I’ll drive. I work digital and film — film when the subject is worth the patience.
What I’ll shoot, honestly: anything.
If it’s not on that list, it’s still probably a yes. Ask.
